What a load of blowhard whiners pointing fingers these days.
There’s plenty of real problems to whine about…but I’m so tired of hearing the petty “opose the other side no matter what” stuff. A large part of today’s middle age middle class never mentally left high school — wait, make that kindergarten. Ditto for most of Congress, too. And many of the congressmen who did grow up went to work for Goldman Sachs.

This is funny, but the reality is that Obama has followed and furthered Bush’s policies the overwhelming majority of the time.
Agreed. I think things would have been much worse if puppets McCain/Palin had been elected, but puppets Obama/Biden are merely tapping the brakes. We’re still occupying 2 countries (actually, many more than that…), Gitmo is still in business, drone fleet is actually more active now, and the Goldman Sachs guys are still spinning the revolving door at the Capital like a 78 rpm broken record. The new Roman Empire rolls on…
I agree with you Joe about the new “Roman Empire”. It started the day Obama gave the speech in the stadium with all those Roman pillars as a back drop. A lot of show and no substance.
I think it started when England handed over the mantle of New Rome after WWI, after Spain handed it to England before that…on and on they rise and fall. Guess there’s comfort in the fact that Italy, Spain, England are all still pretty nice places after the fall, and so America will probably be too when we pass on the mantle of “richest in the world” to somebody else.
The ship of state is a supertanker of immense proportion, it can’t turn on a dime. I figure Obama truly is playing chess while mostly everyone else is playing checkers, but I’m reaching the end of my tether on this.
I can’t imagine the minefield Obamaco is navigating, but I suspect there’s much happening beneath the radar that will come to light soon. I’m still so glad to have the Bushslime out of office I can hardly contain myself, but Obama better get on his horse and ride soon, or he will lose me, too.
