Have never taken an online course. I did take an early biology/dna course that was basically taught on video at the U of Utah in the early 70's and it was a hard way to learn that subject...of course not much was known way back then. But, I bet a philosophy course could be great online. I've been thinking I need a better education in that area. Great post, Joe.
