Brent: I'm a Barnes and Noble addict, and I've been avoiding it and the library lately just because I know it'll make me feel bad if I find more books and DVDs to put on my "list." But what a nice hell to be living with...too much good information to absorb.

Also, I'm pretty sure there's another top 10 list coming up very soon...very, very soon :-) Thanks for the feedback! I aims to please.

Thanks Joe. I read what you wrote about the book and ordered it. Now it can go into the pile of books that I want to read but haven't had the time to read yet.

Keep on doing the good work. I am awaiting another Top 10 list, though.

Pelmo: That's a good question...I don't know why people in urban areas seem to fear terrorism least. My first gut reaction is that in a city, it's easier to blend in, and odds are if an office building gets blown up it's not the one you're at, where in a more rural area if the terrorists come to town, it's hard to hide since there are fewer people and fewer target locations. But, then, if the terrorists are going to blow up a dam or use a nuclear bomb, that doesn't make sense...urban or rural, everybody's gonna be affected. So, mabe it's just that more liberals live in urban areas, and more conservatives live in rural areas, and these days conservatives seem to be the most easily influenced by the fearmongering of our government. Maybe something like that. Maybe not.

Lynne: I only saw the pilot episode of Jericho a couple of years ago, but maybe I need to grab a season on DVD. I enjoyed the show, but it was on a bad night for repeated viewings. Yep, Iowa Terror does have something close to the "Kansas" feel of Jericho.

A lot of times you find more truth in fiction, then in reality.

For the life of me I can not figure out why people who have the least chance of being victims of terrorism, are the ones that fear it the most. Could it be that those who live in urban areas become immune to it, by being surrounded by it on a daily basis?
