Thanks for the "welcome back," JJS. I enjoyed reading the trend predictions and comments over at <a href="http://serenidee.over-blog.com" rel="nofollow">Serenidee</a> and, though it's late coming, I'm intending to post a related post soon.

In the mean time, best wishes for the New Year, and your new endeavors!

Hello JoeC,
allow a regular reader to say "welcome back to your own blog!". Like many other visitors to "Hard-boiled dreams of the world", I was vaguely anxious, noticing such a long pause since "Christmas Eve morning"...
Even as a non-US citizen, I am concious of the importance of this unfolding year, which will lead up to the choice of your future President: importance for your country, significant also for many others.
I touched upon this in my blog, under the heading "2008: facts and trends" (see: http://serenidee.over-blog.com/article-15821911.html) and a follow-up article by a guest author (see: http://serenidee.over-blog.com/article-15857152.html).
Regards,
JJS.

You said it, Pelmo. And like any operation, it's probably going to be painful and the rehab won't be a walk in the park, but the other choice is to keep getting sicker and sicker...if you don't catch it early enough, at some point the cancer becomes inoperable.

Jefferson and Iacocca really hit the bulls eye.

We don't need a guy pushing dreams. We need a surgeon to remove the infectious cancer spreading uncontroled in Washington.
