The Case of the Missing Airline Bombing Terrorists
Recently, investigators from the Government Accountability Office passed security at 19 airports with bomb parts. And, in fact, airport security is regularly passed by investigators bearing fake explosives.
But, instead of scaring us, this really should make us feel more safe, as Michael Rivero explains:
Tests conducted using fake explosives demonstrated that the TSA security at the airport, for all its annoyance value, is unable to find most of the bombs being taken on board airplanes. This leads us to a startling conclusion. If just half the bombs out there can get past TSA, and no planes have exploded, then there ARE no bombs out there!
Let me put this another way. Based on the recent tests, real terrorists have a better than 50/50 chance of taking down American passenger aircraft IF THEY TRY. There have been no explosions, and more tellingly, no arrests at the gates of people with bombs. Quod Erat Demonstradum, there are no terrorists out there trying to bomb our planes. If there were, more than half of them would succeed.
Aside from the one event on September 11th that occurred just in time to justify Bush’s invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan, there has been no real terrorist threat. It’s all a hoax, to make it look like we face a threat that only constant invasions of other countries (which all happen to sit on top of vast oil reserves) will save us from.
Think about that the next time you have to show up two hours early, drink your baby’s formula, and take your shoes off.

A real thinking man’s post.
I can’t believe that our government would use fear as a tool, to achieve their objectives.
That’s how they pull it off, too many refuse to believe it.
Denial.
As explained on page 152 of one of my favorite books, Freakonomics, 5 million child car seats sold in the USA each year only save about 2 lives per year that wouldn’t have been saved anyway by just making the kids sit in the back seat and wear a regular seatbelt. But, the fear being peddled of what might happen if the kids aren’t in their child seats makes the industry a lot of money…just like the fear of terrorists is making some folks a lot of money. Heck, it’s a whole new industry! Now there’s a need for all those products we only imagined when we read 1984.
Lately I’ve been thinking along your lines, Joe. If there have been littlebands of terrorists throughout our country since 9/11, where are the incidents?
Sure, we have a guy with a match in his shoe, we have guys who never got past the talking stage no matter how hard the fbi undercover guy pushed them, we have money going here and there to either educate people about muslims or help them eat, we have muslims (and others)mad about things. But if the threat is real, where are the actual incidents?
Do we have fbi agents on every dark skinned person, watching and thwarting every move?
We are told everyday all day long about some mass destruction event that looms over us and can get us at any moment.
I look to the the examples the “enemy” DOES give us everyday: Car bombs, IED’s and kidnappings. These are all small volume (relative to 9/11) events, but cumulativly, far bigger.
WHY ARE THEY NOT DOING THAT HERE IF THERE IS SUCH A THREAT THAT WE HAVE TO SUSPEND AND IGNORE OUR CONSTITUTION AND BANKRUPT OUR COUNTRY?
How hard is it to build fertilizer bombs like Oklahoma city? How hard is it to pack a car full of stuff and drive downtown? How hard is it to blow up buses and trains? How hard is it to poison air and water supplies?
If there were little squads of dark skinned enemy people throughout our country, they would be doing just what they are doing in Iraq. Those people in Iraq are doing it under martial law! They are getting impossible to get supplies in a police state!
I just don’t buy that terrorists are only interested in the BIG event. The proof is, they do far more damage doing lots of little ones. Where are the little ones in our country?
Maybe the sky is not falling, Chicken Little. Maybe their is just a fox in the henhouse who’s nature it is to steal rather than pay a fair/market price?
XMAN, I will tell you why they are not doing it here. They are to busy sitting around camp fires and laughing at seeing how we have been reacting ever since 9/11. All they have to do is make a video, and sit back as the fun begins.
Hey Joe,
Are you still out there somewhere?
