The Terrible Truth about Pat Tillman
The terrible truth has begun to snowball as documents come to light in the Pat Tillman friendly-fire case. Among other things, the documents, obtained by the Associated Press, state:
No evidence at all of enemy fire was found at the scene - no one was hit by enemy fire, nor was any government equipment struck.
Furthermore, the accidental “friendly fire” consisted of “three bullet holes in Pat Tillman’s forehead” that were so closely spaced the medical examiners were of the opinion that the three bullets came from an M-16 fired within 10 yards of Tillman.
Maybe this isn’t so surprising given that we now know Tillman was an avid Bush hater, thought the Iraq War was illegal, and had already scheduled to meet with outspoken political activist and writer Noam Chomsky.
As usual, the White House cited Executive Privilege to try to keep the documents and the truth from Tillman’s mother.

I didn’t know Tillman was scheduled to meet with Noam Chomsky. That explains why he was executed.
I guess Bushco got every last drop of pro-war patriotic sacrificial brainwashing out of the Tillman story before the truth hit. Just like the initial Jessica Lynch fable.
So what if a few people piece together the real story from scattered back pages of the Main Stream Media…it’s years later, and the propaganda has already served it’s purpose.
Besides, the initial legends were plastered all over the front pages. What’s on the front pages now? Hmmm…let me check…
No Tillman correction. But hey, I do see where Cheney’s getting a new pacemaker battery, Nicole Ritchie’s headed for jail, and Lindsey Lohan chased somebody around a parking lot.
Way to go CNN. That’s real important headline news. You’re serving the naked emperor well.
As of right now there is no where we can turn to get insightfull information. There are no investigative reporters who take on hard hitting issues and peel them like an onion to get to the truth.
News shoes are more like comedys as anchors spend more time joking and laughing and childish bannter, then reporting. Even NPR is starting to fall down on the job.

Mounting evidence that football star Pat Tillman, who famously gave up a high-paying pro career to sign up as an Army Ranger and fight Al Qaeda in Afghanistan, may have been assassinated in a high-level conspiracy to prevent him from returning to the US as a prominent war critic should make even hardened military people question orders from their commander in chief, particularly if those orders involve arresting or shooting American citizens. Tillman, it is now known, had turned strongly against the war in Iraq as early as late 2003, and was telling his platoon to vote against Bush. There are reports too that he was contacting war critics like Noam Chomsky from Afghanistan about coming out as a war critic in 2004–a prospect which must have terrified the war-mongers in the White House and Pentagon.
