Senator David Vitter Likes Prostitutes
According to Senator David Vitter’s website, he’s dedicated to making life better for his young family and all Louisiana families, and he’s focused on advancing mainstream conservative principles.
One way this married-with-children, public servant is advancing mainstream conservative principles is sleeping with hookers.
Yes, Vitter’s telephone number has turned up in the list of clients’ numbers made public by accused D.C. Madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey.
A History of Hookers
And let’s not forget that when Vitter geared up to run for governor of Louisiana in 2002, a prostitute named Wendy Cortez accused Vitter of using her services. Cortez came forward because she was upset that Vitter was portraying himself as a family-values conservative and trotting out his wife and children for campaign photo ops while boinking her in private.
Seems call girls and pimps can’t stand posturing career hypocrites any more than the rest of us.
But that’s all behind Vitter now. Yesterday Vitter made it all go away with the Jesus wand: “Several years ago, I asked for and received forgiveness from God and my wife in confession and marriage counseling.”
Vitter Comes Up Lacking
In 2000, an interviewer for the Times-Picayune asked Vitter’s wife about extramarital affairs. She had this response: “I’m a lot more like Lorena Bobbitt than Hillary. If he does something like that, I’m walking away with one thing, and it’s not alimony, trust me.”
So, in light of Vitter’s wife’s comments, pardon me if I’m mistaken for assuming Republican Senator Vitter is now missing his penis.
But for now, it’s stay the course, and back to business for Vitter. And for Vitter, that means amending the U.S. Constitution to ban same sex marriages. In 2006, the dickless prick said, “I don’t believe there’s any issue that’s more important than this one … I think this debate is very healthy, and it’s winning a lot of hearts and minds.”
Senator Vitter: Husband. Father. Forgiven cheater. Career hypocrite. Dickless prick. Winning a lot of hearts and minds for America.

And how happy they are to get another sinner to see the light and come to their side. Praise Jesus and pass the collection plate, we have another convert.
Does politics create perverts, or do we only elect perverts, since there are so many?
And when do they find time to do this, when we are always told they are working so hard for us?

“Does politics create perverts, or do we only elect perverts, since there are so many?”
Power corrupts. Of course, there are some people who are less corruptible, have loads of integrity, intelligence, and are better suited for office, but unfortunately they’re not good at speaking in soundbites, and most aren’t super charasmatic, and they aren’t good at fundraisers…fat chance those types have of getting elected in this country. ;-)

Joe, great job. Another masterpiece.
You do the “acerbic wit” well.
I hope you submit it to some of the other blogs…that need a bit of humor and a sharper point on things.
Why do they do it?
Well, remember “Driver’d Education” whe we are told the reason people hit trees is that they keep looking at they tree and don’t look away. You know, the old “body follows the head” thing.
I have always felt if the types who seem to overly focus on sex would just focus on something else for awhile, they might stop hitting the tree so often.

Xman: Thanks! I think you’ve got a good point…nature abhors a vacuum, and it’s a lot harder to “don’t think about hitting the tree” than to “think about staying on the road.” Reminds me of the whole meditation thing…trying to empty your mind is a very hard thing that takes some a lifetime to master.

Ah yes. The family values crowd strikes again. What a surprise…another repukelican hypocrite. Someone should search his pockets for meth ala Ted, “Teddy Bear” Haggard. It’s no surprise that he comes from LA–that is one screwed up state politically and it has been for decades.

“Ah yes. The family values crowd strikes again.”
It really does seem like we’re on a Merry-Go-Round, deja vu, something…same story, over and over…Swaggert, Haggard, Clinton, Gov. Jim McGreevey…round and round it goes…

Random thoughts:
Well, not really meaning to start a fight, but……
Just stepping back and looking at human history, one might conclude that being very sexy is our nature. One might also conclude that social conventions haven’t managed to manage or contain it as they would like…using the methods they like.
Then looking an animal nature, it doesn’t appear they have many social constraints about sexiness. Yes, some get sex and others have a hard time getting it (a pecking order?) and maybe some species still do mate for life (however, a lot of those examples are now debunked).
It seems to me that maybe we sometimes create our own enemy. Set a trap and then fall into it.
Maybe these guys were just not getting enough or any at home. Sounds natural to go get some, somewhere.
I suppose the Mona Lisa is a great example of what man is capable of, but how many men can do a Mona Lisa? I mean, monagamous life might be a nice, romantic and even the most desireable state…but how often is an ideal achieved?
And…is it a realistic ideal…given our nature?
Like I said, random, circular thought.

Xman: I agree that weve created our own enemy here. There’s a balance between puritanism and hedonism and in America, the pendulum seems to swing back and forth from decade to decade…swinging 20s, McCarthyism, 67 summer of love, 70s discos…
I’m fine with freedom, and everybody doing their own thing in private…if that means being in a traditional married relationship, fine, or if a pair decides they want to swing…I don’t condone or disapprove…it’s a free country as long as you’re not harming anybody else, as far as I’m concerned.
As you said, we don’t know WHAT kind of stress or pressure these politicians are under, or if the behavior of their spouses contributed to their actions, so I don’t even despise Vitter for being a little too human.
However, I DO despise him for preaching his version of morality to us while he’s privately enjoying his version of immorality.
He did say it was all his fault, and apologized. Not that that makes him my hero, but the apology at least lessened my dislike for him…a little… like 40 below zero is a little more comfortable than 60 below :-)

Yep, those GOP always play on that High Morals and Values platform… they are such hypocrites! That is why I want to see the perverts fall because they are the biggest hypocrites!

Yep, agreed. Don’t care for Taliban Republicans or any other type that is always trying to tell me how I should be living my life and I’ll be going to hell or be an unpatriotic American if I don’t do it their way.

Vitter is truly the candidate of change. One hooker said he wanted to wear diapers and get spanked - good indication the dickless charge is accurate.

You got it, Suzie-Q and norm,
How come all the perverts seem to be Republicans. That is just weird stuff.
I read yesterday a guy had to be helped out of a porta potty. He was standing in the “hole”, waist deep. NAKED. When asked why he was naked, he just shrugged his shoulders (like our new Attorney General).
Must have been a Repug.
For the life of me I can’t figure out why a guy is waist deep and naked in a porta-potty.
