Paris Hilton vs George W. Bush
Right-wing parents have been whining that Paris Hilton is a terrible role model for their impressionable young teens. But, these parents should look in the mirror at impressionable adults who have their own atrocious role models, especially the one they put in the White House…TWICE!
Spoiled Rich Brats
Like Paris Whitney Hilton, George Walker Bush is a spoiled rich brat. Besides sharing a middle initial, both of these Dubyas grew up failing to learn socially acceptable behavior, and both were seldom held accountable for their actions.
Paris was an eldest child born into the Hilton family. She’s the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, founder of the Hilton hotel and source of the $300 million family fortune.
George was an eldest child born into the Bush family. He’s the grandson of US senator Prescott Bush, a director and shareholder of companies that profited from their involvement with the financial backers of Nazi Germany.
Exposed in Public
Besides being born into rich and influential families, both Paris Hilton and George W. Bush have a knack for exposing their private areas in public places.
Like Paris, in his twenties George also showed a talent for wild partying, abusing illegal drugs, and admittedly getting arrested for DUI.
Greedy, Selfish, and Arrogant
Make no mistake, if either Paris Hilton or George W. Bush had found a Golden Ticket in their Wonka Bars, they would have both been judged bad eggs by the egg sorting machine in Wonka’s Chocolate Factory.
But, George has shown that even bad eggs have a future.
After years of undisciplined behavior, he claims to have found religion. And it didn’t hurt that his dad’s friends expunged his criminal record. And presto…today’s parents went and made their terrible role model their President.
So, I don’t buy the argument that the role models of today’s youth are any worse than the role models of their parents. But, I do hope that America’s next generation is smarter than their parents. I do hope they don’t make Paris Hilton quarterback of the Nuclear Football.

It seems to be systemic. Was looking at a short blurb about all the countries that are ignoring their constitutions in key areas as well as ignoring majority public opinion of populations.
Just commenting on how leaders the world over (most of them spoiled rich kids) are choosing what rules to obey and which to ignore.
Odd thing is, the church groups who used to uphold strong principles and ethics are themselves choosing which ones they want to uphold. It looks like a total system breakdown to me.

And I’m so tired of the wealthy setting the stage for discourse. They fool us into thinking we are gay vs straight, black vs white, immigrant vs native, religious vs agnostic, etc., but the true battle is between the wealthy and all the rest of us. We really are looking at a New World Order.
We have lost the old values. When a handshake sealed a deal and someones word was trusted. Now lawyers are hired by the dozen to break contracts and for a few measly dollars allegiances are quickly switched.
Churches are no longer about religion, but have grown faster then big corporations where the bottom line is most important.
It has always been about the wealthy and the poor. It’s just that today the wealthy are more greedy, and want it all. And like fools, we can’t wait to toss our hard earned money at them, as they use the media to convince us that we can’t live without those electronic gadgets, that clutter our homes or are thrown on the trash pile as the new and improved models come out daily.
Since 1967, the middle class in the U.S. has been steadily disappearing. You can see it clearly in the data here: Widening Income Gap.
Just looking at history, places with no middle class aren’t very nice places to live…mostly dictatorships ruling over lots of very pissed off starving violent people who will kill for a piece of bread.
It really is about the wealthy and the poor…so many things are tied to getting that mixture right…
Barack Obama
He really sets a good example for our young people:
If cocaine and marijuana is good for our President it is good enough for us.
Why should anyone be imprisoned for doing drugs, our President did and never went to jail.
I am going to smoke pot and do cocaine and maybe when I grow up I can be a President too.

A New World Order?
That could mean many things; it could be good and it could be very bad.
What we need in our country is more unity and patriotism.
Our politicians self interest keep drawing us further and further apart. There is a trend to fracture our society into more and smaller groups.
I am inclined to believe that this trend will continue until we have a major and I mean huge national disaster that will force us to unite again.
