Lynda: I'm still reading (and rereading) that article...lots of info there. But, I had to pause just to take a breath and just to type, WTF!!!!!!!!!

Ok, there, I feel better now ;-) a little bit, anyway. The founding fathers were right -- maintaining their new experiment in democracy will require a constant vigil to guard liberty's flame from the wolves who want to blow it out.

Pete: The Easter Bunny was good to the whole family, although he had to hide eggs inside this year (cold spell had Easter Morning down to about 25 degrees down here in Alabama...warm, sunny south, you know...) But we had a good time, went to church, celebrated all the Pagan Fertility (eggs, bunnies...) rituals AND the Christian religious rituals. It was all good, and we still have some relatives to visit this afternoon...

Everything in moderation, variety's the spice, a good balance of everything makes life pretty darn enjoyable!

Hope you are all having a great bunny day up your way, too!

Peace and joy!

We have taken the it can't happen TO or IN the USA attitude.
People were totally shocked at how easily the U.S. basketball team was beaten in the Olympics, and at a loss as to what to do about it.
The terrorists struck, and again we were unable to understand how and why it happened and what to do about it.
We laughed at the religious zealouts and their antics, and suddenly they invaded and got a foot hold in our government. Again how to rid ourselves of this menace.
Now the reconstuctionists will be looked at as a group of kooks with their outlandish ideas, and we have nothing to worry about, nothing to worry about, until it is to late.
Hope the Easter Bunny was good to you.
