In Bed with Israel
What’s the reason behind the USA’s blind and unwavering support of Israel, even when Israel behaves like a spoiled teenager in need of a long-overdue grounding?
The best explanation I can find is in this article in The Economist, which states:
Two in five Americans believe that Israel was given to the Jewish people by God, and one in three say that the creation of the state of Israel was a step towards the Second Coming.
Here’s a thought: Jesus predicted that he was going to be betrayed. That doesn’t forgive Judas for making it happen.
Likewise, for those whose personal interpretation of the Bible leads them to believe a second coming depends on Israel despoiling the entire Middle East, that doesn’t forgive them for helping it happen.
The Main Stream Media tends to play down Israel’s offenses, but let’s be impartial with our anti-terrorist rage. There are plenty evildoers on Israel’s side of the fence.
It’s wrong for the USA to keep enabling another country’s noxious and immature behavior, as exhibited in the following links:

Perhaps when the Arabs finally stop trying to destroy Israel, then there’ll be peace.
Yes, and perhaps when the Israeli stop killing Arabs, imprisoning Arabs, oppressing Arabs and trying to destroy Arabs, they will stop trying to protect themselves. Maybe then they will get over their rage at what Israel has been allowed to do to them. Maybe then there will be peace. But as long as there are people like you around, it seems unlikely.
I really wasn’t trying to start a flame war here, but Israel smart-bombed a UN observer post in Lebanon (link) and said it was an accident.
Last week, an Israeli sniper shot a 12 year old girl in the head (link)
And then they just killed 18 civilians in Gaza, including 7 women and 4 children (link).
There’s only so many times the “accident” excuse is remotely believable, and that time has long since passed.
Hey: Try Genesis 12: (whole chapter). I have always prayed for Israel and they (like U.S.) have their up’s and downs! In Genesis 12 “GOD” says: I will bless those who bless you and CURSE those who curse you! So it all boils down to …. do you believe GOD or do you NOT! It is hard to bless those who do evil agains you…but agaiin…One of the 10 commandments. That is if I am still in my right mind. Ha.
Love you guys.
